Tibetans in Nepal

The author of this work presents an exhaustive study of the socio-economic aspect of the condition of Tibetan refugees who migrated to Nepal. From the vicissitudes of their escape to their resettlement and rehabilitation, there were tumultuous years of native's hostility and help, and assistance from voluntary and government organizations. Based on scientific surveys, the work presents a graphic account of the socio-economic status of Tibetan refugees in Nepal through different stages of their resettlement. It also emphasis the contribution made by these refugees to the Nepalese commerce and industrial scene.
