Newar Traditional Motifs and Designs

This early Newar-Tibetan or Beri style included the use of repeating floral or vine-like roundels, with intricate stems and swirling arabesque motifs. The section on jewelry depicts 200 different designs of bracelets, armlets and anklets, 100 earing designs and neck-choker designs. The section on thrones depict 80 different lotus thrones... It is an illustrated encyclopedia of Newari designs and motifs.
