Back Cover: ‘Life is one’. Jesus said it, Buddha said it and so did all the great spiritual leaders that have ever existed. This book tries to explain the various aspects of life in respect to the intimate relationship each person has with it. What on Earth does the concept of oneness mean if everything and everyone seems to be separated by space? Is it true that every person on the planet expresses an aspect of myself? Is my interpretation of life a result of my experiences that allow me to form values and beliefs? Do I feel happy when these values and beliefs are confirmed and confronted when they are threatened? As is the case with most humans I too like my experience of reality to be confirmed.
Unfortunately I had not met anyone until now that could confirm what I experienced. His name is Niranjan, he is the overseer of the Satyananda Yoga Tradition. I have been blessed to have questions answered by him that had been on my mind for several years. This has required dedication and sustained effort while my mind has been soley focussed on one subject. This book is the ‘effect’ from two specific events. Firstly, while singing a yogic tune and washing up I entered a meditative state and was told to write book IV. In a couple of minutes it resulted in the content of the book being about prana in the body relative to the breath, prana in the universe relative to creation, the human bodies link to creation through the chakras, the prana in the chakras and the sounds on their petals.
Secondly, I do not know what to do with the knowledge I have gained and feel that if I do not have an outlet for it I may spontaneously combust. So here I go on yet another journey of discovery, if not for anything else but the experience.
