This tale is a different version of Nine and a Half Fingers, but written and illustrated to capture the attention of boys. They will enjoy the phantasmagorical illustrations, based on Thankgka art done by Sonam, a young Tibetan refugee. In the back of the book, readers will learn of Sonam’s life in Tibet and his heroic escape over the Himalayas. His Holiness the 17th Karmapa has written a heartfelt foreword.
