This book is a collection of Kirati folktales collected by Shiva Kumar Shrestha. The Kirat or Kirati or Kiranti or Kirant people are indigenous ethnic groups of the Himalayas extending eastward from Nepal into India, Bangladesh, Burma and beyond.
