Myths and Legends of Nepal

The present book is the result of the author's long acquaintance with the ancient, yet living, traditions of Nepalese legends regarding the various gods and goddesses who, in the imagination of persons have been born and brought up in the age-old culture of Nepal, particularly the valley of Kathmandu and its adjoining districts which still abound not only in the temples but also in every lovely nook and corner of the hills, valleys , rivers and lakes in this region.
