A collection of essays written by a Swiss psychiatrist who lived and worked in India for more than thirty years, specially in Srinagar in Kashmir. An attempt to draw parallels between modern psychotherapy and ancient Indian scripture. Dr Hoch was a student of Medard Boss, the Swiss psychiatrist who founded Daseinsanalyse along with philosopher Martin Heidegger. In English, and published in India in 1993.
