The number of books, articles, research papers or research books focusing on different aspects of school education has increased considerably in recent years in Nepal. However, many aspects of public education remain to be studied and researched. One such area with less research is the history of public school education. Much of what is written about Nepal's educational history is "state-centered." School Education in Nepal: Collected articles on history, politics and society have made the educational history of Nepal (from the end of the Rana period to 1990) through slightly different streams and methods.
