A Study in Nepali Economic History

This attempt to study Nepali economic history during the period from 1768 to 1846 may require an explanation, but hardly any apology. There has no doubt been a spurt in historical writing in Nepali in recent years. The patience and perseverance of a number of individuals in discovering and bringing to light documents, inscriptions and other source materials belonging to different historical places have been commendable.
